Pricing & purchases
How much does Prime Rivals cost?
Addition and subtraction are free in every game mode. Multiplication, division, and future math types unlock with a one-time Full Math Unlock for $1.99 (US price; local prices vary by store and country). It is a one-time purchase that you keep — not a subscription.
Is Full Math Unlock a subscription?
No. We don’t sell subscriptions. If you bought the earlier annual subscription on iPhone or iPad, you keep your access — just open the app signed in with the same Apple ID. To stop an old subscription from renewing, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
How do I restore my purchase on iPhone or iPad?
- Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID that made the purchase (or one in the same Family Sharing group).
- Open Prime Rivals and tap a multiplication or division mode to open the Full Math Unlock screen.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
How do I restore my purchase on Android or Chromebook?
- Make sure the Play Store is signed in with the Google account that made the purchase.
- Open Prime Rivals. Your unlock is normally restored automatically.
- If it isn’t, open the Full Math Unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases.
Purchases can’t move between Apple and Google stores — an App Store purchase unlocks Apple devices, and a Google Play purchase unlocks Android devices and Chromebooks.
Does Family Sharing work?
Yes, on Apple devices. Full Math Unlock supports Apple Family Sharing, so one purchase covers everyone in your Family Sharing group. Family members can use Restore Purchases to turn it on. On Google Play, the purchase belongs to the Google account that bought it.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play under Order history in your Google account. We don’t have access to your payment details.
Voice Blitz & the microphone
Why does the app ask for the microphone?
Only for Voice Blitz, the optional mode where players say their answers out loud. The app asks for permission only when a voice mode starts. Every other mode works without the microphone, so it’s fine to say no.
Is my child’s voice recorded or uploaded?
No. Speech is recognized on the device and turned into a number in real time. Audio is never recorded, stored, or sent to us or anyone else. On iPhone and iPad the app uses Apple speech recognition in on-device-only mode; on Android and Chromebook it uses on-device speech recognition only.
Voice Blitz isn’t hearing answers. What can I try?
- Check that microphone access is on: iPhone/iPad — Settings > Prime Rivals (turn on Microphone and Speech Recognition); Android — Settings > Apps > Prime Rivals > Permissions > Microphone; Chromebook — the app’s settings in Settings > Apps.
- Speak the number clearly, close to the device, and try a quieter spot.
- Some older devices don’t support on-device speech recognition. If yours doesn’t, the other modes still work normally.
How do I turn the microphone off?
Just don’t play Voice Blitz, or turn off microphone permission for Prime Rivals in your device settings at any time.
Chromebooks, Android & schools
Does Prime Rivals work on Chromebooks?
Yes — on Chromebooks that support Android apps from the Google Play Store. Install it from the Play Store on the Chromebook. Get it here: Prime Rivals on Google Play.
We use managed school Chromebooks. How do we allow the app?
On managed devices, your district’s IT admin needs to allowlist the app in the Google Admin console (Apps & extensions > Users & browsers > add an Android app from Google Play) using the package name
com.onetwothree.primerivals, then force-install it or make it available to the right organizational unit.
The app has no accounts and doesn’t contact Get Set Studio servers, so there are no extra web domains to allowlist beyond normal Google Play access. It contains no ads, analytics, or third-party SDKs. Our privacy policy covers the details many districts ask for.
Does progress sync between devices on Android?
No. On Android and Chromebook, progress is saved on that device only. There is no iCloud sync on Android, and progress doesn’t move between Apple and Android devices. If Android device backup is turned on, progress may be included in your own Google backup and restored when you set up a new device.
Note for schools: if Chromebooks are shared or set to clear user data at sign-out, progress may not carry over between sessions.
How does sync work on iPhone and iPad?
Progress, player names, and rankings sync through the family’s own private iCloud across Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud turned on. We can’t see or access this data.
How many players can use one device?
You can create lots of player profiles — enough for siblings or a whole class — and each keeps its own progress and Trophy Room.
Privacy & your data
What data do you collect?
None. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, crash-reporting tools, or third-party SDKs. Progress stays on your device (and your own iCloud on Apple devices, or your own Android backup). Read the full privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
iPhone & iPad: delete the app to remove data on that device. To delete the iCloud copy, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage) > Prime Rivals > delete data.
Android & Chromebook: go to Settings > Apps > Prime Rivals > Storage > Clear storage (or uninstall the app). To remove a copy in your device backup, delete that backup in your Google account (Google One > Storage > Device backup).
Deleting data doesn’t remove your purchase — you can restore Full Math Unlock later with the same store account.
Can I move progress to a new device?
On Apple devices, sign in with the same Apple ID and keep iCloud on — progress syncs automatically. On Android, restore from your Google device backup when setting up the new device.
